“Widening the application of information and communication technologies is important for modernization of the country’s economy. In this context, education and space industry were declared priority spheres in Azerbaijan. At the same time, pilot projects have been implemented in the country’s agricultural sector with the application of information and communication technologies.”
During the meeting the sides also exchanged views on expansion of cooperation between Azerbaijan and Microsoft.
President Ilham Aliyev meets Microsoft’s Vice President
President Ilham Aliyev has met with Vice President of Microsoft Company Mrs. Susan Hauser in Davos. The meeting highlighted the successful development of the ICT system in Azerbaijan.
