Singapore transport authority to launch CCTV trial
Singapore Land Transport Authority (LTA) looks to launch a six-month trial of advanced CCTVs that will provide 24-hour monitoring of the streets and illegal parking. This marks the first time CCTVs have been used by LTA on illegal parking.The move is expected to save on manpower that checks on roadside parking violations and to improve the efficiency of law enforcement.
