Spatial data of Baku districts, including administrative-territorial units, postal codes, building polygons, land parcels, and digital maps of the road network, was integrated into the Address Registry Information System.
According to graphic data included in the textual and graphical databases of the Address Registry Information System, more than 35000 entries on real estate units located in 175 streets and more than 70000 assigned internal addresses were included in the system. This information system will increase the efficiency of provision of first medical help, emergency, postal and other services. It will also help the user to find the required address more quickly.
Note that the Address Registry Information System was created with the aim of ensuring data exchange between the information systems of different state agencies. By using the Address Registry Information System, state agencies will be able to obtain information on addresses of real estate objects via the E-government portal.
