Azerbaijan at the meeting was represented by Minister of Transport, Communications and High Technologies Ramin Guluzade, First Deputy Minister Ali Abdullayev and head of the International Cooperation Department of the Ministry Shahin Ismayilov.
The meeting discussed issues regarding the fourth industrial revolution in the world, improving broadband Internet connectivity, the study of regulatory mechanisms in the field of information and communication technologies (ICT), the development of digital economy in developing countries.
During the meeting, the adoption of the new goals of the 2030 Agenda – Sustainable Development was the subject of discussion.
Note that the meeting of the commission is traditionally held one day before the UN General Assembly at the Yale Club in New York.
