New technology and more innovative applications, for example, in soft contact lenses. The first prototype of such a product should create for the next year.
Dr. Ian Hammerton from the University of Bristol said about other possibilities of technology: “This study opened the way not only to create high-capacity batteries, but can be used in many other projects: bioelectronics, sensors, wearable electronics and advanced optics. We believe that this change may play a key role in the development of technology.”
British scientists have created polymer for batteries of the future
A group of researchers from the UK have developed a polymeric material that can make batteries much more efficient than solution-based electrolyte, due to the greater density. The capacity of such batteries will increase to 10 thousand times, and charging speed will be measured in minutes, not in hours. This achievement of science can be used for instant charging smartphones and electric vehicles that will be able to place much larger distances on a single charge.New technology and more innovative applications, for example, in soft contact lenses.
