Also managed to find about 270 websites that contain malicious codes and some of these sites were the government and could contain personal information of citizens.
According to information published on the website of Interpol, the operation was conducted jointly with investigators of the seven countries of South-East Asia: Malaysia, Indonesia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam. Experts from China have also assisted the investigation.
«The operation helped the participants to identify and establish the origin of cybercrime, which are not suppressed in these countries», — said the Chairman of the Eurasian working group on cybercrime Francis Chan.
