K2 is a full – fledged computer inside the keyboard

Familiar computers look the same: large case, monitor, keyboard and mouse. All these components occupy a lot of space, not very mobile and consume large amounts of energy. Hong Kong company Acute angle decided to change this stereotype. Its engineers have separated all the key computer modules from the enclosure and placed them inside a compact keyboard that you can take with you anywhere.

The resulting minicomputer K2 includes maternal PCB-motherboard, Intel CPU, the GPU, up to 8GB of RAM, a hard drive capacity of up to 128GB and a lot of necessary ports. While the most advanced (and heavy) model weighs only 450 grams.

In addition to the limit of compactness and mobility, computer keyboard offers users incredibly low level of consumption. For example, the model K2 consumes just 10 watts of electricity against the average of 60-80 desktop computer. Because of this, all models of the Acute angle practically does not require cooling and can be assembled without a cooler.

K2 supports Windows 10 Home. Features, even base models of minicomputers will be sufficient for most everyday tasks. Among them: create presentations, work with email and office packages, games, online shopping, music, and video.

A few days ago Acute angle has launched a financial campaign on Kickstarter and almost immediately collected the required amount is 100,000 Hong Kong dollars. The first K2 will be delivered to her owner in October of this year. Their price will be around 14000 rubles with delivery around the world.
