‘Privileged pharmacies’ carry out state control of medicines
The Ministry of Health continues its activities towards expanding e-services. One of these activities includes state registration and provision of sick people with medicines.
In order to strengthen control of this process the Health Ministry’s Information Center created ‘Privileged pharmacies’ subsystem in the Electronic Health Card System.
24 ‘privileged pharmacies’ in Baku, Chief Health Department of Baku city, Center for Analytic Examination of Medicines and Technical Innovation Center connected to this subsystem. This information was provided to ‘İCTnews’ by the Information Center of the Health Ministry. Sick persons, belonging a ‘privileged’ group, are currently being provided with electronic cards in Baku. Information about sick persons and medicines, provided to them, is recorded in the information system and electronic cards.
According to the Center, the Center for Analytic Examination of Medicines has been conducting trainings since last year so that pharmaceutics could take advantage of modifications to the software support module. The modifications to the software support were made in order to start registration of ‘privileged’ sick persons and help pharmacies to prepare monthly reports.
