e-Signatures to be used in process of acceptance of admission applications from university and technical school entrants
e-Signatures will be used for the first time in Azerbaijan in the process of acceptance of admission applications from entrants for their admission to universities and technical schools in 2012-2013 academic year.
This information was released by Maleyka Abbaszade, chairperson of the State Students Admission Commission of the Republic of Azerbaijan, during the press –conference held in connection with the beginning of acceptance of applications for admission to universities and technical schools.
According to her, those university and technical school entrants who have e-signatures will be able to use them for submitting their applications.
‘Universities and technical schools will accept applications through the internet. For participating in admission examinations university and technical school entrants will have to fill out their electronic applications through the internet from April 10 till May 16 and submit required documents to the Document Acceptance Commissions for registration from April 16 till May 18.
Commissions accept documents from 9 to 17 o’clock every day, excluding Saturdays, Sundays and holidays.
Deadline for submitting documents is May 16, and deadline for registering applications is 18 May. Up on completion of admission examinations, those entrants who meet competition requirements will indicate in their e-applications a code of speciality they want to study,’ M.Abbaszade said at the press-conference.
