Drivers to be informed about their violations of traffic rules via SMS
Drivers are soon expected to receive all information about fines imposed on them for violating traffic rules via SMS massages that will be sent directly to their mobile phone numbers.
According to information spread by the Main State Traffic Police Department of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the new service will help to increase responsibility of drivers. Previously, notifications about infringements of traffic rules were sent to drivers’ home addresses.
After the introduction of this novelty the process of notification of drives will be significantly accelerated. The drivers who have infringed traffic rules will be quickly informed about their violations with SMS messages sent directly to their mobile phones.
