More than 400,000 infants are provided with electron cards
Newborn babies are given electron “health cards” in accordance with information coming to the Center.
According to the deputy director of the Public Health and Development Center of the Ministry of Health Chabrail Asadzade, the system was built in such a way that when a baby is born in any maternity hospital, the Center will immediately receive information about it. Information about newborn infants is entered the electron “health cards”. As soon as the child leaves the hospital, his electronic card will be sent to the polyclinic, in which he was registered.
The electron card contains all medical information about the infant’s health. This electronic card system was introduced to promote control of children health and create the data base for operative accumulation of medical information .
