Plastic cards grow in popularity
The ‘Azerpoct’ LLC has released over 1,800 salary cards and distributed them among workers. According to information provided by the Plastic Cards Department of ‘Azerpoct’, more than 400 ‘MasterCard’ international plastic cards were handed out to employees of the Militarized Security Service for paying their wages.
‘Azepoct’ also plans to issue plastic cards for social security payments. Currently, the company is holding negotiations with Moscow representation for connecting to the ‘Visa International’ payment system.
In order to provide its clients with greater convenience ‘Azerpoct’ has installed ATMs at the Mail Delivery Center, the Ministry of Communication and IT, post offices No: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 in Baku. It also installed POS terminal in Chayrud village in Lerik region to this end.
