The capital’s ATE central stations to be based on NGN technology
Baku Telephone Communications Production Association is implementing measures to bring the capital’s communications network to the level meeting present day’s requirements. The chief specialist of the Association Elman Gadirov revealed to us that ATE 493/498 stations covering the city centre are based on the NFN technology and are expected to be put into operation in mid August. The other stations are also planned to be built on this technology. The fully reconstructed station, apart from rendering high quality communication services, will offer all types of multimedia services to the citizens. It should be noted that activities are being carried out in the suburbs of Baku in parallel with this.
