About 9000 taxplayers used online registration through “the single window” of the Ministry of Taxes of Azerbaijan
About 8958 taxpayers have used the online registration through the 'single window' of the Azerbaijani Ministry of Taxes since early 2012 to May 31, head of the State Registration Office of Commercial Legal Entities of the Baku tax department under the Ministry of Taxes Nigar Alimova said in an interview, published in the newspaper 'Taxes' which is the official ministry publication.
Alimova said that the total number of transactions in Baku, have been registered using the 'single window' from the time of its introduction (from January 1, 2008) to May 31 this year amounting to 75,765, legal entities - 13,713.
About 94.4 per cent of commercial legal entities have been registered in the form of a limited liability company for the last four years.
At present, the ministry operates to simplify the procedures of liquidating commercial legal entities. A draft proposal has been prepared to amend the existing legislation, taking into account the recommendations of the International Finance Corporation.
"The period of completing the liquidation process has been specified," he said. "The exact list of required documents is being determined that will be removed from the register. The issues related to protecting the legal interests of the representatives of commercial companies and lenders have been reflected."
