Seminar titled ‘Efficient management of technical assistance’ held in Tbilisi
The 5th Eastern Partnership Public Administration Reform Seminar titled ‘Efficient management of technical assistance’ took place on June 11-13, 2012 in Tbilisi, Georgia. The Republic of Azerbaijan was represented at the activity by a delegation, consisting of representatives of the Ministry of Economic Development, the Civil Service Commission and the ITTSO II project.
The seminar was organized by the by Estonian Center of the Eastern Partnership in co-operation with European Commission, Swedish International Development Co-operation Agency (SIDA) and Georgian Foundation for Strategic and International Studies (GFSIS) as a preparative part of the upcoming ECEAP's comparative report on ‘Public Administration Reform in the EAP countries (Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine)’.
According to information provided to ICTnews by the Civil Service Commission under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Commission’s leading advisor Narmin Zeynalova took part in the seminar by making a presentation on the activities implemented by the Civil Service Commission within the framework of the ‘SIGMA’ project, funded by the European Union.
The seminar discussed the reports made by its participants on the management of technical assistance by experts of EAP countries. During the activity seminar participants were also provided with information on the efficient development and execution of various programs and projects that are funded by the European Union.
