Central Scientific Library uses database consisting of 40,000 e-magazines
All users of the Central Scientific Library of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (ANAS) can access to EBSCO database comprising 40,000 e-magazines. This information was provided to ICTnews by the Central Scientific Library (CSL).
The information says that SCL has become a member of the Azerbaijan Library and Information Consortium. The Azerbaijan Library and Information Consortium is a full-fledged member of the International Library Consortium "eİFL. Net", which plays an important role in the development of the world culture.
CSL and a number of other libraries in Azerbaijan gained an access to the world-famous EBSCO data base through eİFL. Net’s channels. EBSCO includes more than 20 topics: "Language and linguistics", "Literature and literary critique", "Philosophy", "Physics", "Astronomy and astrophysics", "Economy, business and management", "Chemistry", "History and archaeology", "Law and criminology", "Psychology and psychiatry", "Geography", "Geology", "Mathematics", "Biology and biological sciences", "Medicine", "Computer and programming technologies", "Agriculture", "Environment", "Sociology social sciences", "Education", "Politology and political sciences" and other topics.
