Azerbaijan to participate at ITU Telecom World 2012
An Azerbaijani delegation will be represented at the World Conference and specialized exhibition of telecommunications technologies, equipment, services of the International Telecommunication Union - ITU Telecom World 2012, the Ministry of Communications and IT reported.
The delegation will be led by the Minister of Communications and IT Ali Abbasov. ITU Telecom World 2012 Exhibition Conference will take place at the exhibition center of Dubai, along with Technology Week GITEX on Oct.14-18. The Azerbaijani delegation will include representatives of sectoral structures of the ministry, as well as telecommunications and IT-companies.
A national pavilion will operate within the exhibition, which will showcase the latest technical solutions in the ICT sphere. ITU TelecomWorld Exhibition 2012 is the major event, attracting representatives from the public sector, international and local companies in the sector of telecommunications and information technology from around the world. The event is expected to be attended by ministers, heads of companies, experts in the field of telecommunication technologies.
ITU Telecom World 2012 is the leading platform for the global ICT community to connect, debate, network and share knowledge. The agenda of the ITU Telecom World 2012 includes the summit of leaders, panel sessions of the forum, workshops, "round tables" and corporate events. Key themes of the event will be stimulation and development of innovations, new business models, e-health, M2M and Cloud Computing, cyber security, etc.
