Quality of broadcast of TV and radio channels improves in Azerbaijan
During the first half of 2011 “Teleradio” Production Association installed and put into operation 39 items of communication equipment in order to raise quality of broadcast of TV and radio channels across the country. Certain activities have been carried out towards execution of “Program on introduction and development of DVB-T digital television broadcasting systems”. At the same time, in the first half of 2011, The State Management of Radio Frequencies conducted technical inspection of radio-electronic equipment of 377 organizations and identified 692 pcs. of unregistered radio-electronic equipment. During the reporting period, 29 legal and physical entities were provided with frequencies, and new 2400 pcs. of radio-electronic equipment were registered in accordance with the decision of The State Management of Radio Frequencies.
