Telephone communication network expands in Khazar district
A new project has been launched in Khazar district of Baku in order to expand the coverage of the telephone communication network. This information was provided to ICTnews by the technical director of Baku Telephone Communication Production Unit Rasul Gurbanov. According to him, a new building for ATS was constructed in Dubandi settlement in Khazar district, and a new NGN technology based ATS with a capacity of 896 numbers was put into operation.
In Bilgah settlement EATS - 453 was also replaced with a new NGN station with a capacity of 252 numbers. The total capacity of the station made up 1,888 numbers. In Zagulba settlement a new NGN technology based EATS with a capacity of 416 numbers was put into operation. Besides that, the capacity of EATS-453 in Buzovna settlement was increased by 512 numbers, and 1,152 ADSL ports were put into operation.
