Azerbaijan becomes Eastern Europe’s most advanced country
Azerbaijan is becoming the most advanced country in the sphere of information technologies not only in the South Caucasus and the former Soviet Union, but also in Eastern Europe, Head of Azerbaijani Presidential Administration Social and Political Department Ali Hasanov said at the official opening of Azerfon (the "Nar Mobile" trademark) new head office. "Azerbaijan is implementing a big and ambitious project to launch its own satellite.
The country will soon render satellite services not only to its citizens, but to the entire Eurasian region," Hasanov said. He said opening of a new Nar Mobile office in Azerbaijan and introduction of new technologies -- despite the company operates in the country for five years only -- indicate that the country develops in the right direction. Thus, Azerbaijan, which was founded by National Leader Heydar Aliyev, and is developing in this direction, has become one of the most developed and advanced world countries in short timeframe.
"Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has repeatedly stated in all his speeches that we want Azerbaijan to secure itself not only in internal, external, economic, political and social issues and meet the needs of its citizens, but also become a reliable partner and one of the developed countries. Today's grand opening of Nar Mobile office shows that Azerbaijan is really turning into one of the most attractive, advanced and reliable partners in the world," Hasanov said.
