Azerpost expands electronic business services
Azerpost LLC has recently started rendering electronic business services to the population. This information was provided to the “ICTnews” online news services by the head of the Financial Services and Marketing Department of Azerpost Yashar Ahmadov.
According to him, Azerpost now uses plastic cards to pay pensions, allowances and salaries. “Today, the company possesses a very large network, which can enter into competition with any bank. Availability of post offices in villages is the other advantage of Azerpost.
A bank needs to rent a place to install ATM or POS-terminal. This means that the revenue generated by ATM or POS-terminal will be used to cover leasing and maintenance expenses. In villages post offices have special armored cash-in-transit vans for rendering financial services. Everything goes according to plan,” Y. Ahmadov said.
It should be noted that with realization of the “Financial Services Development” project, all necessary conditions will be created for transforming the company into a business giant.
