All EATSs in Gadabay region to be provided with optic cables
Connecting lines of 17 out of 21 EATSs in villages in Gadabay region have been provided with optic cables. This information was provided to “ICTnews” online news service by head of Telecommunication Hub of Gadabay region Ramin Mammadov.
According to him, by the end of the 1st quarter of the current year, the remaining EATSs in Arigdam, Chanagchi, Gargar, Kichik Garamurad villiges will be also provided with optic cables. “264 ADSL ports have been put into operation in EATSs in Slavyanka, Zahmat, Soyudlu, Novasaratovka, Novaivanovka villages. The number of telecommunication subscribers has already reached 5,770 people. 320 of them are subscribers of the optic communication.
The growth might be observed in the number of internet users as well. It is worth mentioning that after connecting the region’s telecommunication to TAE fiber-optic cable line, the quality of telephone services significantly increased, and villagers were provided with high-speed internet.
