The analysts, conducting a new investigation, observe that users are getting more and more interested in having a permanent access to social networks and ability to share multimedia content. Experts have an opinion that this tendency will result in outfitting 78% of all produced tablet computers with 3G/4G modems by 2015.
Stephanie Ethier, the chief analyst of In-Stat, says that rapidly expanding tablet computers market offers one of the most prospective opportunities for 3G/4G build-in technologies. He notes that this trend will be also observed in the electron book rider segment. Stephanie Ethier thinks that 65% of “riders” will have 3G/4G cellular communication modules, and not less than a half of the tablet computers will be connected to LTE WAN networks by 2015.According to In-Stat, the volume of tablet computer market made up 16,000,000 pcs in 2010, and the steadiest growth in demand for the predicted period will be in the Asian- Pacific region.
