Zagata region completely covered with non-sim CDMA communication network
Zagatala is the first region in Azerbaijan whose entire territory has been covered with the non-sim CDMA communication network. This information was provided to “ICTnews” online news service by the technical director of Aztelekom Production Unit Zahir Valiyev.
According to him, all villiges in Zagatala region have been connected to the non-sim CDMA network, and villagers have not had any problems with using this service.
“Now, any resident of any village in Zagatala region can avail themselves of the non-sim telephone service. Presently, there are more that 1,500 CDMA subscribers in the region. The Zagatala Telecommunication Node intends to raise this figure up to 1,600. According to Aztelekom’s estimation, Zagatala Telecommunication Node holds the first place among all regional telecommunication nodes in Azerbaijan in terms of the number of CDMA subscribers and the rate of growth.Compared to other services, the num-sim CDMA communication network has a large number of advantages, including possibility for the citizen to connect to the high-quality telephone communication network from any place he/she likes, protection of subscribers from unauthorized access, relatively small number of cancellations which is 10-15 times less than at the cable telephone network, provision of subscribers with strong environmental safety, long service life of accumulator batteries, etc.”
