Action Plan prepared for setting up Electronic Signature Certificate Centre in Nakhchivan
Application of information and communication technologies in state agencies and formation of e-Government has now become one of the major issues for Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.
According to information released to “ICTnews” online news service by the Ministry of Communications and Information Technologies of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, a number of measures have been implemented in Nakhchivan to deal with these issues.
As a result of these activities, internet pages were created for 76 state agencies. These internet pages were provided with domain names and e-mail addresses and put on the global network.
The ministry provided 34 state agencies with register codes for rendering electronic services, and helped these state agencies to prepare regulations. In addition to that, Action Plan was prepared for creating the Electronic Signature Certificate Centre and e-Government portal in Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.
