Action Plan prepared in connection with declaration 2013 the year of ICT to be approved soon
Action Plan has been prepared in connection with the declaration 2013 the year of communication and information technologies.
The Action Plan, which was prepared in accordance with the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan’s decree dated 16 January 2013, is expected to be approved soon. The plan outlines such main directions as “Organizational and social activities”, “Normative legal base and improvement of management”, “Strengthening of ICT potential”, “Development of information society and human potential” and “International cooperation.”
At the same time, the plan includes tasks arising from the presidential decree such as expanding the State Fund for Development of Information Technologies’ activities, putting into operation the High Technology Park and Electronic Security Centre, developing the e-Government, increasing the number and the quality of electronic services rendered through the e-Government portal, etc.
