Contest for journalists announced
Ministry of Communications and Information Technologies of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Mobitel (official distributor of Nokia Mobile in Azerbaijan), Caspian Telecom (distributor of HTC, Sony and Blackberry in Azerbaijan), Integral (official distributor of Samsung Mobile in Azerbaijan), Sun Mobile (official distributor of Fly and Birds) announce a contest among the media on the theme "Advantages of registration of mobile devices for users" which will run from April 1 to 30.
Articles and reports posted in newspapers, journals, television, radio as well as online media are accepted to participate in the contest. The impact of publications in Azerbaijan as well as the number of its readers will be taken into account during the assessment of articles. In the process of evaluation of the authors, the number of articles will be considered as an advantage.
To participate in the contest, one should send the articles to e-mail info@infomerkez.az until 30 April, or call on (012) 408 73 70. Articles prepared for the contest should cover the following topics: What is IMEI-code and advantages of registration systems of mobile devices for the public;
-How can one determine a fake device through IMEI code; -What dangers await the user who buys a fake mobile phone;
- Registration procedures of mobile phones imported to Azerbaijan.
Winners will be determined by a jury consisting of representatives of the contest organizers. A trip to Turkey will be organized for the three best authors.
During the visit journalists will have an opportunity to familiarize themselves with positive experience of this country in the use of registration system of mobile devices. Other journalists who distinguished in the contest will also be awarded valuable gifts.
