Hewlett Packard to expand its activities in Azerbaijani market
Hewlett Packard considers Azerbaijan as its main partner in the region. In his interview to “ICTnews” online news service Alexander Roy, technological services manager at Hewlett Packard, said that in near future the company will take part in a number of large-scale state project.
“These projects are dealing, for the most part, with the application of technologies in governmental structures. Apart from computers, we are offering a wide range of program solutions and complex solutions in accordance with the requirements of the market.
There is great interest in “cloud technologies” in Azerbaijan, which are related to such areas as information security and network solutions. Azerbaijan holds the leading place in the region in terms of the application of such technologies. Judging by the existing statistical data, we can say that Azerbaijan will soon make a significant progress in the ICT sphere. Hewlett Packard accounts for a huge share of Azerbaijan’s IT market. I can say that this year our company will increase this share by tens of percents or, perhaps, by twice.”
