The Ministry of Communications and IT has determined a list of e-services for population
The Azerbaijani Communications and IT Ministry has determined a list of e-services to be rendered to the population.
They include the possibility of citizens' appeal for laying new telephone lines and activating the services rendered based on the public telephone network, Internet services connection, telecommunications equipment certification (information services) and mail tracking. These activities are carried out according to the Azerbaijani President’s decree "On some measures in the field of rendering electronic services by state agencies," dated May 23.
According to report, at present, work is underway on upgrading the ministry’s Internet-resource, where a section that will contain electronic services will be available.
At present, work is carried out to ensure possibility of citizens’ appeal to the ministry in electronic form (by filling in an application), as well as notification of a sender about the receipt of appeal. The ministry ensured payment of duties and other payments in an electronic form. Service of online-payment for interurban and international calls, including Internet services payment is now available through the ministry’s resource. Citizens can also use the service of receiving vouchers for international and interurban calls via the Internet. Today this service is already used by 7,000 users.
