Minister: ‘Azerbaijan contributed to the creation of e-Government in Afghanistan’
In his interview with journalists Minister of Foreign Affairs Elmar Mammadyarov said that Azerbaijan had contributed to the creation of e-Government in Afghanistan. According to him, the Azerbaijan International Development Agency (AIDA) increased the number of the projects that are aimed at the realisation of international humanitarian aid programs and the provision of sustainable development.
“Under the international student scholarship program, foreign students from Palestine, Saint Vincent and Grenada received education at the higher education institutions of Azerbaijan. At the same time, skills upgrading courses were organised for specialists from Angola, Algeria, Chad, Cameroon, Ivory Coast, Libya, Mauritania, Egypt, Nigeria, Sudan, Colombia, Vietnam, Oman, Kuwait and other countries.
In addition to that, ADA University was created under the Azerbaijan Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs at the President Ilham Aliyev’ order dated January 13, 2014. The university is dedicated to preparing innovative global leaders and to promoting useful collaborative research on diplomacy, public and international affairs, business, humanities and sciences, information technologies and system engineering.”
