Around 140 mobile phone numbers were shifted to another network last month
The “Provision of information on mobile phone numbers shifted to another network with the use of Mobile Number Portability (MNP) service” electronic service was used 139411 times during November 2015.
Note that Mobile Number Portability (MNP) enables mobile telephone users to retain their mobile telephone numbers when changing from one mobile network operator to another.
Portability of numbers implies full transition of subscriber from one operator to another while retaining the number together with a prefix of the operator.
