Over 4 million transactions were carried out last year with the use of e-signature
The number of users of electronic signature cards is increasing from year to year in Azerbaijan.
Thus, during last year, the Data Processing Centre (DPC) of the Ministry of Communications and High Technologies (MCHT) issued 47532, 15832 and 13820 e-signature certificates to state organizations, physical persons and legal entities, respectively.
During the same period, 3 160 353 transactions were carried out by state agencies with the use of e-signature. At the same time, physical persons and legal entities carried out 906 334 transactions with the use of e-signature. In general, more than 4 million transactions were carried out in 2015 with the use of e-signature.
E-signature is one of authentication tools of the E-government portal. During last year, more than 4 million authentications with the use of e-signature card were registered on the portal.
