Winners of ‘Startup Azerbaijan 2016’ announced
The final presentation of "Startup Azerbaijan 2016" competition has been held today. The winners of the competition were announced at the event. Projects such as FoodLook”, “Ustam”, “Braille Pad”, “WibeMe”, “Businesset” were among the winners of the competition.
The winners of the "Startup Azerbaijan 2016" competition were awarded with valuable prizes and diplomas. The winning startups will be provided with accelerators and all necessary conditions for working in innovation centres and industrial parks. Additionally, sponsor organizations will organise overseas trips for the competition winners.
Note that "Startup Azerbaijan” competition is held in 2 stages. Within the competition, the expert evaluation of startup projects is carried out to identify semifinalists. Then the expert evaluation of the projects that were presented to the competition by semifinlists is carried out to determine the winners of “Startup Azerbaijan” competition.
“Startup Azerbaijan” project is supported by the Ministry of Communications and High Technologies (MCHT), State Fund for Development of İnformation Technologies of MCHT, and High Technologies Park. ADA University is an academic partner of “Startup Azerbaijan” project. The project is sponsored by ATL Group, SINAM, Neuron Technologies, SUP Accelerator, “NEXT STEP” Innovation Centre and Cybernet companies.
