Azerbaijani startup enters the list of top 25 in Global G-Startup Competition
The Azerbaijani startup, which was selected from 228 projects in the world, has entered the list of top 25 in the Global G-Startup Competition (http://g-startup.com/judges-and-startups-tokyo-startup-competition/). The Azerbaijani project “BethClip” was included in the list of “G-Startup Worldwide Tokyo Top 25” projects that had been presented to the competition from 52 countries of the world. At the next stage of the competition, 8 projects will be selected from 25 projects, and the names of the selected projects will be announced on June 24 on the official Facebook page of the contest.
Under the terms of the competition, the winner of the second place will receive the investment award of $ 20 000. And the winner of the first place will be receive the investment award of $ 50 000 and the opportunity to participate in the final stage of the competition, which will be held in Silicon Valley, the US. The winners of Startup Worldwide Global Finals, which will take place in September, will receive $ 250 000 investment award. The finalists will also be able to participate in a 3-day bootcamp, which will be organised in Google Headquarters.
BethClip is a lightweight and very easy to handle piece of software whose main function resides in synchronizing user’s clipboard across multiple devices, enabling him to have access to the same data, regardless of the device he is working on. It is one of those revolutionary one-click solutions that bring easiness and comfort to its users. Main stream of this productivity tool is that it helps the user transfer his files in a matter of a second between clipboards or different devices that work in multiple platforms.
BethClip was the winner of Yeni Fikir (New Idea) 2014 organized by QUTechnopark. It also won ITU Telecom World Entrepreneurship Award for the best SMEs. The head of the projects is Rashid Aliyev.
