By calling Call Center 157 you can now get answers to all your questions related to registration of IMEI codes of your mobile devices and lost phones.
Data Processing Center (DPC) of the Ministry of Communications and High Technologies has combined previously operating Information Center 1677 with Call Center 157 with the view of optimizing and improving the quality of calls received on the "Mobile Devices Registration System".
Note that citizens can now obtain information by calling this number on business days from 9:00 to 18:00.
According to the relevant decision of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan, "Mobile Devices Registration System", which was created by Data Processing Center, performs the functions of inclusion of data on identification parameters of mobile devices used in telecommunications network into a single database system, their storage and processing.
The purpose of the system is to prevent the import of mobile devices whose technical parameters do not meet the standards and are of low quality and emitting harmful electromagnetic radiation to the human body.
Note that electronic registration of IMEI codes of mobile devices is carried out on the portal www.e-gov.az, website www.imei.az or at post offices.
