Workshop on Azerbaijani e-government model held at Soongsil University in Korea
With the launch of the E-government portal (www.e-gov.az), our country has moved to the new stage of digitalization.
At this stage, citizens can more easily avail themselves of state services since the activities of local and central executive bodies were integrated into a single space.
Also, at this stage, administrative structures operating in various spheres have got closer to citizens following the adoption of uniform standards.
Azerbaijani students studying abroad speak with confidence about the positive results of the 5-year activity.
Thus, our compatriot Leyla Aliyeva, who studies at IT Engineering Department of Soongsil University in Korea, conducted a workshop on Azerbaijan's e-government model and e-signature for university students.
During the workshop, the E-government portal’s technical infrastructure and the portal were visually demonstrated to the students.
The workshop participants were also provided with information about the application of e-signature, which is an important component of digitalization.
Leyla Aliyeva noted that 42 state agencies provide their services to the population of the country through the E-government portal and that she views the portal as a tool providing innovative approach to solving various social issues.
Leyla Aliyeva also said that she sometimes used electronic certificate services on the portal and that these services allow for saving time, paper and man power.
The workshop concluded with a questions-and-answer session and discussions.
