Galaxy Note 7 coming back as Galaxy Note Fan Edition
The Galaxy Note 7 fiasco was one of the main events of the mobile market last year, due to battery problems, Samsung was forced to stop selling this device and recall all the devices sold, but the company did not discard thousands of already produced smartphones. It promised to release a revised version. For a long time, various rumors of the updated Galaxy Note 7 have been circulating on the web, and now it has been officially announced.
The new Galaxy Note Fan Edition looks like the original Galaxy Note 7, but there are some differences. For example, you can immediately find it on the label "Galaxy Note Fan Edition" on the back. The smartphone is made of Galaxy Note 7 parts and other components that were not used before. Samsung claims that this is the first fully environmentally friendly product of the company.
There are only three changes in the Galaxy Note Fan Edition compared to the Galaxy Note 7:
- As already mentioned above, there is an inscription on the backside "Galaxy Note Fan Edition";
- The unit comes with a new Bixbee virtual assistant, including the Bixbee Home and Bixbee Reminder features;
- The unit uses an entirely new 3 200 mAh capacity that lasts eight stages of verification instead of the original 3,500 mAh battery;
In all other respects, Galaxy Note Fan Edition is a full copy of Galaxy Note 7. It received a 5.7-inch Super AMOLED-display with Quad HD resolution, 4 GB of RAM, a built-in 64 GB memory with support for microSD memory cards up to 128 GB, 12 Megapixel main camera with aperture f / 1.7 and a 5-megapixel front camera.
The price for a limited edition of 400,000 pieces is about $ 610, which is 40% cheaper than the original Note 7, when it went on sale. The company will report the availability of the smartphone in other regions later.
