Nearby 2.0 for communication between devices without the Internet
Google announced the release of the second version of the Nearby Connections API, which provides an encrypted broadband connection with low latency between nearby devices.
Nearby uses Wi-Fi and Bluetooth to communicate between devices. No need for the Internet.
The technology allows sharing data between gadgets. It could be transmission or broadcasting. This technology will help to communicate in small areas with a large number of people, where communication is bad.
Nearby 2.0 became available today for all users with Google services version 11.0 and newer.
