The Japanese Post intends to test unmanned vehicles on city streets to deliver mail between post offices.
According to the information agency Kyodo, a solemn ceremony and demonstration of an unmanned car painted in bright red with the logo of Japan Post on the hood was held on Wednesday in Tokyo.
In the course of the upcoming tests, an unmanned vehicle will have to drive about two kilometers from the Tokyo Post Office of Japan to another office in the Ginza area, making another stop along the way.
