Azerbaijani startup becomes partner with famous South Korean company
As it was previously reported, a delegation headed by Deputy Minister of Transport, Communications and High Technologies Elmir Velizadeh is taking part in the International Exhibition & Conference “ITU Telecom World 2018”, which is being held in Durban, the Republic of South Africa, by the International Telecommunication Union.
The delegation includes, among others, local startups.
Virtual reality technologies developed by the company CustomAR, which is known for its VR-wargame “Elevation” (Yüksəklik), have attracted the attention of exhibition participants.
Besides that, CustomAR, which is represented in Azerbaijan’ National Pavilion, has already found new partners.
Thus, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the company CustomAR and the South Korean company Frontis on the development of virtual reality technologies and cooperation in the implementation of projects in the Middle East region.
The document was signed by the head of CustomAR Farid Davudov and the executive director of Frontis Chung Hun-Seuk.
It is to be recalled that the authors of “Elevation” were inspired to create this wargame by the heroic liberation of the “Lele Tepe” hill by the Azerbaijan National Army in April 2016.
