Azerbaijan awarded by International Telecommunication Union
The awards ceremony was held on the results of the international exhibition and conference ITU Telecom World 2018, held by the International Telecommunication Union in the city of Durban, the Republic of South Africa.
The Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies of the Republic of Azerbaijan was awarded a special certificate of gratitude by ITU for active participation in the work of ITU Telecom World, which plays the role of a global platform for the development of ICT innovations, and worthy fulfillment of its obligations.
The State Administration of Radio Frequencies of the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies of the Republic of Azerbaijan was awarded for the introduction and promotion of socially-oriented innovative solutions. In general, our country was awarded three certificates within the framework of the event.
It should be noted that the annual exhibition and conference ITU Telecom World is considered the most global event in the field of telecommunications in the international arena. Azerbaijan has been regularly represented at the ITU Telecom World exhibitions by the national pavilion since 2009. The Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies is one of the key international partners of this major event.
