Samsung Flash laptop launched with 13.3-inch display, retro style keyboard
Samsung has launched a new laptop – Flash – which is both gorgeous and powerful. Launched in its home country of South Korea, Samsung Flash is priced at KRW 820,000 or approximately $725.
Samsung Flash features a 13.3-inch Full HD panel with wide viewing angle. The Windows 10-based laptop comes with the operating system’s enhanced security features like Windows Hello (for facial recognition), and features a fingerprint sensor on the keyboard as well. Speaking of, the Flash has a retro style keyboard with rounded keys that give it a distinct appearance. There’s a three-dimensional palm rest included in the mix as well.
The Flash is no slouch when it comes to connectivity either. It comes with Intel’s 802.11ac 2×2 Gigabit Wireless LAN card for enhanced download speeds of up to 1.7Gbps. There’s support for both USB Type-C for connectivity with modern devices, and UFS (Universal Flash Storage) cards that can provide up to five times faster speeds than traditional microSD cards.
Samsung Flash is available in three color variants – Linen White, Twill Charcoal, and Soft Coral. The company has partnered with Korea Telecom (KT), South Korea’s largest telecom operator, to offer some addition benefits to buyers. It’ll also be offering a 64GB memory card to first 5,000 customers of the laptop.
