Aztelekom employees hold clean-up campaign in Nabran
Aztelekom Limited Liability Company of the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies continues holding traditional social campaigns in the regions.
During the regular campaign, the personnel of the company cleared household waste from coastal beach areas and a forested area located in Nabran settlement in Khachmaz region.
The main purpose of the campaign is to focus public attention on the solution of environmental problems, to prevent pollution of the Caspian Sea, to urge the local residents to keep these areas clean and, in particular, to make the public aware of the damages caused by discarded household waste to the Caspian Sea fauna.
In the course of the campaign, which was held with the participation of the employees of Aztelekom LLC and Khachmaz Telecommunications Node, the household waste and other types of garbage that had been collected from the beach area and the coastal forest strip were sorted out and hauled to the designated garbage station.
Also, during the campaign, the local residents were informed about the harmful impact sea coast pollution has on the Caspian Sea, the environment and fauna.
The local residents hailed the campaign, which was held just before the start of the beach season.
Aztelekom LLC will continue holding such-like social campaigns in other regions as well.
