The web page of the National Geographic Kids magazine, published by the world’s largest non-profit scientific and educational organization National Geographic Society of the United States, has seriously misrepresented information about Azerbaijan. So, the occupied Nagorno-Karabakh region of Azerbaijan was shown in a different color on the map of Azerbaijan, posted in a publication about our country.
In this regard, the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies together with the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the United States has taken prompt action. As a result, the distortion of the map of the Republic of Azerbaijan was eliminated.
Thanks to the timely intervention of the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies and the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the United States, the map of Azerbaijan was accurately displayed on the website of the magazine in compliance with territorial integrity.
