AZCLOUD Hackathon 2019, organized by AzInTelecom LLC operating under the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies, and sponsored by companies R.I.S.K Company, HPE Azerbaijan, Azercell Telecom, TrendMicro, Bestcomp Group and Juniper with the exclusive partnership of company Cisco, is being held.
During the competition, the participants will work together within about 48 - 72 hours, should find and submit new solution to the given assignment. Moreover, the contest provides an opportunity for specialists (participants) to promote themselves, present their projects and allow investors and companies to involve talented young people in their teams. The winning team will receive a cash prize of 10,000 AZN.
Registration was launched on July 1 of the current year on the website (www.h.azcloud.az) of the competition and ended on July 31. In total, this month 240 participants from 59 teams have nominated themselves. First 20 teams which correctly performs their assignment and provides the required information during the registration stage will qualify for the competition.
Names of teams that will compete in the competition will be made public on August 8 through the official website of the competition, social networking pages and the media.
It should be noted that this year AZCLOUD Hackathon 2019 will be held at Baku Olympic Stadium, which is one of the largest sports arenas in Europe with a total capacity of 68,700 seats and meets the highest international standards approved for stadiums by UEFA, FIFA and ESSMA. Within the framework of the contest, each team will be provided with a SkyBox accommodation and food throughout the competition.
