Minister of Transport, Communications and High Technologies Ramin Guluzade met with a delegation of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine visiting our country.
Officials who participated in the extraordinary elections to the Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan on February 9, 2020 as international observers noted that the elections were democratic.
During the meeting, current cooperation in the field of transport between the two countries, prospects for further development and the work to be done were discussed in detail. At the same time, the need to take joint steps to effectively organize and increase the volume of international freight traffic between Azerbaijan and Ukraine was emphasized. The sides exchanged views on transit traffic through Azerbaijan and freight traffic on the Trans-Caspian International Route.
Minister Ramin Guluzade also met with a Mexican delegation visiting our country. Officials, saying that the extraordinary elections to the Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan were transparent and democratic, expressed their satisfaction with the electoral environment.
During the meeting held at the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies, the sides exchanged views on telecommunications, information technologies, innovation and high technologies. The Mexican side highly appreciated the development of Azerbaijan in this area and expressed their desire to study the experience of our country.
The prospects for further development of cooperation between the two countries in the field of transport were also discussed at the meeting.
