New Xiaomi 5G smartphones with 22.5W and 33W fast charging support spotted on 3C
A couple of days ago, we came to know that Xiaomi is working on a new 5G smartphone, the Mi 10 Youth Edition 5G. Now, it looks like the Mi 10 Youth Edition 5G isn’t the only 5G smartphone under pipeline from the brand. Today, two unannounced Xiaomi smartphones with 5G connectivity, bearing model numbers M2004J7AC and M2004J7BC, have been spotted on 3C by Digital Chat Station and CMNO. Let us have a look.
According to the listing of the M2004J7AC on 3C, the smartphone has 22.5W charging support. As for the M2004J7BC, its listing on 3C reveals that the smartphone has 33W charging support. The listings of both smartphones mention that these devices have 5G connectivity.
Reports online suggest that the M2004J7BC is the Redmi Note 9 Pro Max for the global and the Chinese market since the M2004J7BC supports 33W charging just like the Redmi Note 9 Pro Max for the Indian market. As for the M2004J7BC, it is said to be one of the models in the Redmi Note 9 series for the global and the Chinese market; it could be the Redmi Note 9 Pro, in my opinion.
Reports online also suggest that one of these or both the smartphones will come with MediaTek Dimensity 1000 chipset in order to support 5G connectivity, instead of the Snapdragon 720G SoC that is in the Indian variants of these smartphones, which lacks 5G support.
