LG K51: LG introduced a secure smartphone with three cameras for $150
Three months after the announcement of the protected smartphone LG K51S, the South Korean manufacturer announced the release of a more affordable version of the device with the model number K51. The device is notable for the main camera module with wide-angle optics, a 4000 mAh battery, and an “indestructible” case with protection from water, dust, and drops according to the military standard MIL-STD-810G.
LG K51 is equipped with a 6.5-inch display with a resolution of 1560x720 pixels and a teardrop cutout for an 8-megapixel selfie module. The smartphone is based on the MediaTek Helio P22 mobile platform with a 2.0 GHz processor clock speed. The device has 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal memory. You can expand your internal storage with a microSD card up to 2 TB.
The main camera of the gadget is located in a rectangular horizontal block above the fingerprint scanner and is represented by three sensors with a resolution of 13 (main, f/1.8), 5 (wide-angle optics, f/2.2) and 2 megapixels (depth sensor, f/2.4). Another feature of the device is stereo speakers on the front panel-according to the manufacturer, they are able to provide clear and surround sound.
The battery with a capacity of 4000 mAh, which is charged via the USB Type-C port, is responsible for the autonomy of the device. The smartphone runs the Android 9.0 Pie operating system with the LG UX branded shell. The cost of the new product in the US is $150.
