Nokia 125 and new Nokia 150 officially announced

Nokia Mobile announced this morning new additions to their growing feature phone portfolio. The new members of Nokia feature phone family are the Nokia 125 and the new Nokia 150.

Both devices come with a nice, long design to make space for the big 2.4″ screen and bigger keys. Nokia Mobile describes the Nokia 125 as the most affordable feature phone with the 2.4″ screen that will allow users ease of use at a super low price point. The Nokia 125 doesn’t come with a camera on the back, but it has a flashlight. It uses the well-known Series30+ feature phone OS, with rest of the specs including 4MB of RAM, 4MB of expandable internal storage, 1020mAh removable battery, FM Radio, 3.5mm headphone jack and support for 2G network bands.

The new Nokia 150 also shares the “long design”, and as it was previously reported, it does share design lines with Nokia 6300. The 150 shares most specifications with Nokia 125, with the addition of a VGA camera on the back and Bluetooth 3.0, alongside a more profound design with attractive color options.

The Nokia 125 comes in Charcoal Black and Powder White, and will be available in select markets for a global average retail price of 24 US dollars (22 euro, 1,814 INR), while the new Nokia 150 comes in Red, Cyan and Black, and will be available in select markets for a global average retail price of 29 US dollars (26 euro, 2,200 INR). The launch time isn’t mentioned, and for local availability one has to check local sites and retailers.

All in all, Nokia Mobile today introduced two good looking feature phones that come at an affordable price point and will surely do a good job for folks that need a phone for making calls and sending SMS messages, at least in countries where 2G is still a thing.
