Digital Skills Partnership platform created
As part of InnoWeek – Innovation Week 2020, a video conference dedicated to the creation of the Digital Skills Partnership platform was held at the initiative of the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies and the European Union.
Deputy Minister of Transport, Communications and High Technologies Elmir Velizade, Deputy Minister of Education Firudin Gurbanov and Head of the EU Delegation to Azerbaijan Kestutis Jankauskas made opening speeches at the conference.
Then Director of ICT Applying and Training Center LLC Rauf Jabarov made a presentation on the creation, principles, goals and prospects of the Digital Skills Partnership platform (National Coalition).
The conference laid the foundation for the Digital Skills Partnership platform. The Partnership Platform, initiated by the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies, was supported by the Ministry of Education, Ministry of Economy and Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Population. Private partners Microsoft Azerbaijan and Azercell also expressed support for the partnership.
It should be noted that the Digital Skills Partnership platform is created to enhance cooperation between all stakeholders and organizations working in the digital skills field, to coordinate the work done, and at the same time to develop public-private partnerships on digital skills. Any organization dealing with digital skills can join this partnership.
